QR Barcodes

QR codes consist of black modules arranged in square patterns on a white background. “QR” stands for quick response: the contents can be decoded at high speed. QR codes have been around since 1994, but have until now been used mostly for industrial applications. Their usefulness in marketing is starting understood. It is free and easy to make!

Advantage:
There is no need to write vital details down. A simple scan captures the desired information.

Tech Fair Ideas!

My first idea is to make a flying robot.
The equipment would be:

•        2 flying supporters

·         The body

·         The head

·         Tape

·         Paper

·         Cardboard/metal

The advantages would be that it would a very creative and original idea. It will attract people  because of how original it is. If it turns out well, it will be a big accomplishment for us and it could

The disadvantages is that it will be a very difficult process and it will take a lot of thought and time to create it, if one thing goes wrong, we might have to start all over again. There might be problems with the flying supporters because if it gets damaged or falls of from the robot because of the weight, we might need to make the flying supporters again.

My second idea is to make a CD art.

The equipment would be:

·      Recycled CDs

·      Cardboard

·      Tape

·      Knife

.       Yarn

.        Glue
The advantages would be that I could make a artistic portrait and make even a model out of it. It could turn out attractive and quite creative if it goes right.

The disadvantages is that it will be quite difficult to make a shape out of CDs, it could turn out pretty bad and ugly if the shape isn't right.
